Flux is a family owned electrical contracting business. We've been on the Sunshine Coast since 2010 and installing solar since the early days of the industry in Australia. We design and install solar and battery systems for homes and businesses, and we do the electrical work that goes with them: switchboard upgrades, EV chargers, and the rewiring older houses often need before a system can go in. Most of our work is in Caloundra, Buderim, Maroochydore, Kawana and Sippy Downs, and we cover the rest of South East Queensland.
We're electricians, not salespeople. The person who comes out to quote your job is qualified to install it, so they can look at your switchboard, your roof and your existing wiring and tell you on the spot what will and won't work. If your setup is straightforward, plenty of companies can handle it. If you've got an older solar system, a three-phase supply, or a house that's had work done over the years, that's where we come in. We design around what's already there.
We only install products we'd put on our own homes: Sigenergy, GoodWe, Sungrow and Tesla for inverters and batteries, and panels from Jinko, Trina, REC and Aiko. Cheap gear is a real problem in this industry and we don't fit it. That sometimes means we don't win the job. We're fine with that.
