Solar & Battery Installation
Sunshine Coast Electricians
Real advice. Real electricians.
What a fantastic experience! We did lots of research and got multiple quotes but none came close to Flux. Great value and excellent service from start to finish. Chad was friendly and helpful during our initial consult. Daniel, Seth and Alex did a brilliant job at installation. Highly recommend!
From start to finish, the solar and battery service from all the Flux team was flawless. Honest, approachable, timely, affordable and genuine down to earth service!
The boys were super professional and super clean. They showed up and finished on time. The advice beforehand and after sales service has also been exceptional. Very happy with the value and system we got.
Thanks, Chad and team! Great product, straightforward communication and excellent customer service. A team you can trust. Cheers, Micha
We had a great experience having a new solar panel system supplied and installed by Flux. From the first meeting Chad was informative and organised and helped us choose the best system for our family by taking the time to understand our home and usage without trying to upsell us. The guys that installed the system were so friendly and professional and the follow-up service was amazing as well. Would definitely recommend to friends and family
From the sales (Chad) to explanation then installation (team were lovely and so professional) to after installation service the company has been brilliant. Highly recommend!

Flux is a family owned electrical contracting business. We've been on the Sunshine Coast since 2010 and installing solar since the early days of the industry in Australia. We design and install solar and battery systems for homes and businesses, and we do the electrical work that goes with them: switchboard upgrades, EV chargers, and the rewiring older houses often need before a system can go in. Most of our work is in Caloundra, Buderim, Maroochydore, Kawana and Sippy Downs, and we cover the rest of South East Queensland.
We're electricians, not salespeople. The person who comes out to quote your job is qualified to install it, so they can look at your switchboard, your roof and your existing wiring and tell you on the spot what will and won't work. If your setup is straightforward, plenty of companies can handle it. If you've got an older solar system, a three-phase supply, or a house that's had work done over the years, that's where we come in. We design around what's already there.
We only install products we'd put on our own homes: Sigenergy, GoodWe, Sungrow and Tesla for inverters and batteries, and panels from Jinko, Trina, REC and Aiko. Cheap gear is a real problem in this industry and we don't fit it. That sometimes means we don't win the job. We're fine with that.
We handle the Energex application and can guide you through the energy retailer side, which most installers leave with you. After the install, if something's not right, you ring us and you get us, not a call centre. Get a quote online or call 0489 077 735 and you'll be talking to an electrician.
